The Man Behind It All

Jesus Christ the Messiah, is the man who is truly the inspiration for Living Word Songs.

In the New Testament John, the Baptist on seeing Jesus approaching him declares “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world” (John 1 v 29-NLT).

Jesus’s purpose on earth was to restore the broken relationship between mankind and God. Jesus himself is the gospel, the good news message for all humanity. God saw us all struggling, broken, and lost and instead of leaving us to face the consequences for our rebellion, he instead loved us and sent Jesus His only Son, who is Emmanuel, God with us. He walked among us, and dealt personally with everything that was keeping us from God the Father. Jesus’s birth and his life was the good news because He lived the perfect life we could not. The shedding of his blood and his death was good news because He took the punishment that we all deserve. Jesus' resurrection is good news because He proved that death does not have the final say. Jesus lived for us, died for us, and rose again that we might obtain eternal life rather than eternal death.  

The message of Jesus Christ highlights that we don't need to have it all together, we don't need to clean up our act first, we simply need a change of heart and turn to him in faith as our Lord and Saviour. Jesus is the forgiveness that we need, the peace we're looking for, and in Him we can live life to the full. A life with purpose, meaning, peace, and joy that goes beyond what the world can offer or indeed take away. It’s about having a personal relationship with Jesus.

We at Living Word Songs know this to be a reality in our own lives. We each know individually, the difference Jesus has made in our lives and want Jesus and his wonderful gospel message to be reflected in the songs that are produce. Jesus really is the Man behind it all.
